First Aid/CPR/AED
Class Description:
The First Aid, AED & CPR class is a comprehensive 12-hour program designed to provide IKORCC members with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively in emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions. This course focuses on equipping participants with the essential techniques and protocols for providing first aid, using automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
During the class, IKORCC members will learn about assessing the scene of an emergency, identifying life-threatening conditions, and initiating the appropriate response. They will gain knowledge of basic first aid procedures, such as wound care, choking relief, and managing injuries and illnesses.
