Through our multi-part curriculum, aligned with our high expectations for first-year apprentices, we provide a comprehensive platform to kickstart their careers. Completion of this curriculum not only equips participants with essential skills but also opens doors to direct entry into our program with up to one year of credit, granting them a significant advantage in their career journey.
Building Strong Partnerships
The IKORCC understands the power of collaboration and has forged strategic partnerships with high school programs specializing in carpentry, welding, and industrial maintenance across Indiana and Kentucky. Through these alliances, we have established seamless pathways for students to transition seamlessly into our program. Students who successfully complete their program’s Certificate of Initial Mastery, pass the Kentucky TRACK Carpentry exam, or fulfill specified course sequences are eligible for acceptance into our program. Our Articulation Agreements with select schools, districts, and state Offices of Career and Technical Education ensure a smooth transition from high school to Career Connections.

IKORCC’s Articulation Agreement serves as a formal contract between our organization and participating schools. It outlines the specific training provided by the school, as well as the requirements participants must fulfill during their education. By meeting these requirements, apprentices gain the opportunity for direct entry into our program. The essential criteria while in the articulated program include:

2.0 GPA

High School Diploma
