Commercial Doors & Hardware

Class Description:

• The Door Hardware class is a comprehensive 24-hour program designed to provide IKORCC members with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of door hardware. This course focuses on introducing participants to various types of door hardware, their functions, and installation techniques.
• During the class, IKORCC members will learn about the different components of door hardware, including locks, hinges, closers, panic devices, and access control systems. They will gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of door hardware in ensuring security, accessibility, and convenience in building structures.

Tools & Materials:

• Hard Hat, PPE (Gloves, Safety Glasses, Work Boots), Tape Measure, Writing Instruments, Hammer, Chisels, Screw Drivers
