The United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC) is founded in Chicago, Illinois, with Peter J. McGuire serving as its first president.
WHO WE ARE
The Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters represents more than 35,000 professional tradespersons in 33 locals in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and parts of Tennessee. A proud affiliate of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, which has a century-plus tradition of representing the best of the building trades, the council works in partnership with more than 30,000 contractors, helping them find the best possible talent for their projects.
WHAT WE DO
We provide the opportunity for the men and women that come into our program to earn a college degree while remaining debt-free. During their time with us, they will learn various concepts and gain skills needed in the field. They will also have the opportunity to continue their education for years to come.
