What is an Apprenticeship?
Earn While You Learn:
It is an “Earn While You Learn” opportunity. Apprentices attend school 1 week every 3 months for up to 4 years. In between the weeks of school, you will be on the job working for one of our contractors, learning your craft from experienced journeypersons and earning good money and benefits while you’re doing it.
Hands On Training:
During the weeks you attend school, the classes that you attend will be a small portion in the classroom learning theory, but mostly in the shop doing hands-on projects. The projects are designed to put the theory that you learned in the classroom into practice.
Safety Classes:
Because safety is the foundation of everything we do, all apprentices take health and safety classes such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, First Aid, CPR, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, Aerial Lift, Fork Lift Operator, Fall Protection and others.
